Leonid Bork

graduated from MEPhI in 2008

Ph. D. in Physics and Mathematics

Research Officer of Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics

Leading Scientific Officer of All-Russian Research Institute of Automatics named by N. L. Dukhov (VNIIA)

Having finished school, I was greatly interested in studying physics and tried to make a choice between MSU and MEPhI. However, the results of the MEPhI Olympiad were announced earlier so I decided not to risk.

While studying in MEPhI, I especially enjoyed lectures and workshops at the Theoretical Physics Department. Also, I would like to emphasize lively and interesting communication with students from other departments which helped me to find friends for the entire life.

I am currently employed in Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics and All-Russian Research Institute of Automatics named by N. L. Dukhov (VNIIA). My research interests include studying supersymmetric gauge theories and quantum integrated systems, as well as string theory and theory of critical behaviour.
