A new joint Master’s degree net educational program aimed at joint training of future staff for Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna, Russia) and for the Nuclotron-based Ion Collider Facility Project (NICA) in particular.

The Master’s degree program basis:

The “Charged particle accelerators for MEGASCIENCE facilities” has been designed and carried out at the Electrophysical facilities Department (#14) of NRNU MEPhI Institute for Laser and Plasma Technologies together with Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna, Russia). The program is intended to train highly-qualified specialists in operating accelerating equipment and studying charged particle beam physics with. Further employment in JINR is included.

The education basis:

A unique opportunity to acquire deep understanding of charged particle accelerators theory in NRNU MEPhI while being in the first year of study and practical skills in JINR on the second one.
