Program “Applied Mathematics and Physics”

Training of highly qualified specialists in theoretical and mathematical physics that are competent in both general and specialized issues and have deep understanding of fundamental physics and mathematics.

The Master’s degree program basis:

The “Theoretical physics problems and mathematical modelling” program has been designed and carried out at the Theoretical Nuclear Physics Department (#32) of NRNU MEPhI Institute for Laser and Plasma Technologies with the support of the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics.

The education basis:

Fundamental training in physics, mathematics and engineering making it possible to successfully study the main general and specialized courses (including modern technologies of mathematical modelling of physical processes) under the supervision of leading world-class scientists and specialists.

The program advantages:

The possibility of obtaining internship and working on graduation thesis at the SC ROSATOM companies, the RAS Institutes and other hi-tech enterprises. The possibility of further employment is included.

Wide range of theoretical and mathematical physics courses to choose from, covering nearly all the problems of theoretical physics and mathematical modelling ever existed and offering an opportunity to study with an individual learning plan.
